Plus, three other spots doing Martinis for £10 or less.

Finding a £10 Martini is a boon, no matter the neighbourhood – but a £10 Martini in Mayfair is a real get. Enter the new cocktail hour at The Bar Below in Mayfair’s lovely restaurant Hide, which has landed just in time for the bank holiday weekend. From 5pm to 7pm every day it’s doing a rotating list of cocktails for £10 each – and a Martini will always be on the menu.

The first Martini on the cocktail hour roster is the Cobra: a light pink vodka Martini boosted with a florally rosé vermouth. Other £10 cocktails on the pour include the Escape (rum, oloroso sherry, and pineapple and almond soda), the Birdie (10-year-old bourbon, Sarti Rosa and vermouth) and the Orchard, which combines Cocchi Americano, amontillado sherry, and apple and pear soda.

Looking for more Martinis for a steal in London? We’ve rounded up three below.

Ellie’s, Haggerston

The only thing better than a £10 Martini is an £8 Martini. And that’s precisely what you’ll find at Ellie’s, where the Martinis are £8 a pop all day and all night. Order it dirty, order it wet or dry – and rest safe in the knowledge it’ll cost you less than a tenner.

All My Gods, Bethnal Green

Also on the all-day £8 Martini train? All My Gods, which opened a small schlep from Ellie’s last summer. It makes its ’tinis with Finlandia vodka and Carpano Dry – and if you’re a one-and-done kinda Martini fan, you can follow it up with a £10 kiwi Negroni or watermelon Marg.

Cafe Francois, Borough

Cafe Francois wants you to have an affordable Martini – but it also doesn’t want you to get too sloshed on its watch. That’s where its New York Happy Meal comes in. For £10 you’ll get a Martini and a serve of fries (McDonald’s would never). It’s available from midday every day.
