Make the most of your workout at these new spaces which offer ice baths, infrared saunas, reflexology, lymphatic drainage and more.

A London workout studio is rarely just a room and a timetable anymore. The newest openings are built as spaces for recovery pre- and post-class. Think: contrast spas with ice baths, rooftop pools, saunas and cafes for the pre-sweat coffee. Some are debut sites, others are expansions from established operators. Here are the most exciting ones to bookmark – most are open now, with the rest due by next spring.

The Method Club, Notting Hill

At The Method's Notting Hill flagship, the workout is only part of the visit. It has three studios running everything from high-intensity Blast to Beat Dance and Reformer Pilates, plus Burn, a new lifting class. Recovery happens in The Lab, featuring two treatment rooms for assisted stretching and lymphatic drainage, alongside a contrast spa with a Swedish sauna and three ice baths. FP Homes designed the soft interiors, which include works by Tracey Emin, James Turrell and Olafur Eliasson. Non-members can buy drop-in class bundles, book treatments and use the cafe, a partnership with Nathalie Mayfair.

Triplebond, Marylebone

Marylebone's first rooftop pool is the headline at Triplebond, but it's far from the only draw. Billing itself as London's first social wellness members’ club, it opened in August inside The Botree hotel, near Bond Street station. Training happens in The Bassment, a hot, beat-led studio with built-in infrared, or on the rooftop technogym Recovery runs from infrared saunas and Monk ice baths to zero-gravity massage chairs, cryotherapy and a private hyperbaric oxygen chamber. At street level, cafe ground serves an all day “nutritionist-backed” menu.

Mad, Notting Hill

Lagree specialist Mad opened its third studio in September on Westbourne Grove. Founders Mona Halawi and Nour Abu Hamdan opened what they describe as London's first Lagree studio on King's Road in 2023, followed by a Mayfair space on North Audley Street. The new two-storey space pairs Lagree, a high-intensity, low-impact workout, with mat-based classes and wellness services. Mad Kitchen has its own cafe area for refuelling after class.

Tramp Health, Mayfair

Members’ club Tramp has a daytime sibling in Tramp Health, on Grosvenor Square. It's built around training, recovery and treatments, with a gym and movement studios alongside hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red light, infrared, sauna, steam and dual-temperature cold plunges. Treatment rooms cover everything from lymphatic drainage to gut massages and reflexology, while TH Skin handles facials. The cafe has indoor seating and a terrace overlooking the square. Treatments are open to non-members, but the gym, spa and classes are members only.

Enmei, Shoreditch

Enmei's newly opened Shoreditch studio runs a 50-minute workout on an augmented reformer built for constant resistance. It’s the newest addition to two other studios, one in Chelsea and one in Marylebone. Part Pilates, part bodybuilding, part endurance training, the movements are slow and controlled, and classes move quickly between exercises with no cued breaks. Every session covers core, obliques, lower body and upper body, with muscle groups alternating by day so the body recovers between classes.

Coming soon

Jab Flagship, Moorgate
Jab Boxing Club is heading back to its east London roots with a flagship on Bunhill Row, opening this autumn. The three-floor club has a 20,000 square-foot boxing and training studio, a recovery suite with plunge pools and a 30-person sauna, alongside Joey’s, a cafe and social hub. Classes span boxing, strength and conditioning, and recovery with personalised coaching from an in-house performance team. The design pairs boxing’s golden-era nostalgia with a contemporary look. Founder George Veness learned to box nearby, and the brand plans to expand internationally in 2027.

Jetset Pilates, Fitzrovia
Miami-born reformer brand Jetset Pilates opens its second London studio in October, following its Shoreditch debut in July. The Fitzrovia space, on Margaret Street, has 14 custom-engineered reformer beds and runs continuous 50-minute classes set to curated music. The line-up includes the signature Jetsetter, Jetset Fundamentals for first-timers, and Upper & Core and Lower & Core sessions. Founding memberships are on sale now at pre-opening rates: £79 a month for four classes, £149 for eight or £199 unlimited.

Karve, Clapham
Karve's Clapham studio, due next spring, will be its biggest yet, with more beds than any other site. It'll run the same Transformer Pilates method, which fuses classical, low-impact pilates with high-intensity training in 50 minutes. Karve Cafe will open onsite too, for functional drinks after class or during the day. Currently, Karve has locations in Chelsea, Victoria and Kensington.
