Below, you will find everything you need to know about the Taste of London Seven Dinners competition.

PROMOTION DETAILS

1: By participating in the Broadsheet Media x Taste of The City Seven Dinners (Promotion), each participant fully and unconditionally agrees and acknowledges that these terms and conditions are binding.

2: The promoter is Broadsheet, trading as Broadsheet Media UK Limited, CN 16487751 of Unit B8, 180 Strand, Surrey St, Temple, London WC2R 1EA (Promoter).

3: The Promotion commences at 4:30pm BST on Tuesday May 26th 2026 and closes at 4:30pm on Thursday June 4th (Promotion Period).

4: Entry is open to residents in the United Kingdom only who are over 18 year of age at the time of entry to the Promotion.

HOW TO ENTER

5: To enter this Promotion you must go to https://broadsheet.com/london/articles/taste-of-the-city-competition and enter your details including first name, last name and email address.

6: The Promotion is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.

7: Entries after the Promotion Period will not be considered.

8: Multiple entries are not permitted.

9: Entrants can only enter in their own name. Entering under a false name/s may invalidate all entries. Multiple entries under different names and/or different email addresses may also invalidate all entries at the Promoter’s discretion. The use of automatic entry software, mechanical or electronic devices that allows an individual to automatically enter the competition is prohibited and may render all entries submitted by that individual invalid.

10: Employees of the Promoter, immediate family members of any employee, and any associated company or agency of the Promoter are not eligible to enter.

11: Entrants may be required to provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency to verify their entry (Proof of Identity). Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion. If an entrant/winner fails to provide Proof of Identity by the time and date stipulated by the Promoter, their entry/prize claim will be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion.

12: Entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions are void. Entries will be deemed void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.

DRAW AND PRIZES

13: The prize draw will take place at 180 Studios, 180 Strand, London WC2R 1EA at 5:00pm BST on Thursday June 4th. A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process (Promotion).

14: The first complete, eligible entry drawn will win the prize as described below (First Winner). The Promoter will draw three (3) reserve entries (Reserve Winners) and record them (in order drawn) in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn as a winner or the winner is unable or unwilling to accept the prize.

15: The prize is a reserved table for four (4) people, including a set menu and drinks package as defined below, at a selection of participating restaurants on the following dates:

a. Monday June 15th 2026 at 7pm at Pavyllon, Hamilton Pl, London W1J 7DR. Inclusions: a curated selection of seasonal dishes, finishing with Pavyllon’s signature chocolate. Prize value £75/person

b. Tuesday June 16th 2026 at 7pm at Roka Canary Wharf, 4, Park Pavillion, 40 Canada Square, Canary Wharf Estate, London E14 5FW. Inclusions: multi-course Classic Teishoku menu, a welcome glass of bubbles on arrival, mochi for dessert. Prize value £39.5/person

c. Wednesday June 17th 2026 at 7pm at Cinder St John’s Wood, 5 St John's Wood High St, London NW8 7NG. Inclusions: three course set menu. Prize value £60/person.

d. Thursday June 18th at 7pm Milk Beach, 14 Greek St, James Court, London W1D 4AL. Inclusion: wine flight featuring celebrated wines from some of Australia's most iconic estates, paired with small bites showcasing Australian cuisine using seasonal British ingredients. Prize value £60/person

e. Friday June 19th 2026 at 7pm at Chet’s, Shepherd’s Bush, 65 Shepherd's Bush Grn, London W12 8QE. Inclusions: welcome drink, choose from a selection of Thai street market-inspired platters with your choice of main, spicy side salads, sticky rice, and bonus coconut sorbet. Prize value £20/person.

f. Saturday June 20th 2026 for lunch at 12:30pm at Apricity: Four courses paired with a welcome sparkling and three English wines. Prize value £99/person

g. Sunday June 21st at 7pm at Nipotina: A four-course set menu with wine pairings. Prize value £123 per person.

16: The total prize pool is valued at up to £1,946

17: By accepting the Prize, the Winner agrees to the following conditions:

a. Fixed Scheduling: Reservations are made for specific dates and times as dictated by the Promoter/Restaurant. These bookings are non-transferable and cannot be moved, rescheduled, or postponed.

b. Table Capacity: The table is strictly limited to a maximum of four (4) guests. No additional seats or add-ons to the party size are permitted.

c. The Winner may decrease the number of guests, provided the Restaurant is notified at least 24 hours in advance.

d. No Substitutions: The Prize is offered as a specific package. It cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or alternative menu items/goods. No substitutions are permitted unless required for food allergies (which must be communicated to the venue in advance).

e. Forfeiture of Value: If the Winner (or any of their guests) fails to attend a scheduled reservation, or if the table is not filled to its maximum capacity of four, no monetary compensation, or credit will be provided for the unused portion of the Prize.

f. Incidental Expenses: Any food, beverages, or services ordered during the evening that fall outside the defined Prize package (e.g., additional sides, additional drinks, or service charges where applicable) are the sole financial responsibility of the Winner and must be settled with the Restaurant prior to departure.

18: The First Winner of this promotion will be notified via email to their nominated email address within two business days of the draw. In this email the winner will be sent instructions regarding how to verify their entry (including providing Proof of Identity) and how to redeem their prize.

19: The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash. The prize does not include any additional costs and expenses.

20: Once the provisional prize winner is deemed by the Promoter to have complied with these terms and conditions of entry, the Promoter will deliver the relevant prize within 28 days of the winner’s entry being verified and accepted.

21: Winners may be asked to participate in publicity relating to this promotion.

22: The winner’s name, surname and county will be published on the Website [ARTICLE LINK] on or before Monday June 15th 2026. If you do not want your surname and county included on the list of winners referred to above please email sian.jones@broadsheet.com prior to the closing date of the promotion. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

23: The First Winner must provide the information required to verify their entry by 10:00am on Monday June 8th 2026 (Prize Claim Date). If the prize is not claimed by this time, then the First Winner's prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to contact the Reserve Winners, in the order drawn, in accordance with the process described above. The Reserve Winners will have 12 hours to provide the information required to verify their entry. If none of the Reserve Winners' entries are verified, the Promoter will conduct an unclaimed prize draw at 3:00pm on Wednesday June 10th 2026 at the same place as the original draw. The winner of the unclaimed prize draw (if any) will be contacted by email within 1 business days of the unclaimed prize draw and will have 24 hours to provide the information required to verify their entry.

24: Where there is no valid prize winner, or the winner does not claim the Prize by the Prize Claim Date, the Promoter will publish this on the Website on or after the Prize Claim Date.

25: It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner agrees to participate in and cooperate with all reasonable media editorial requests, including but not limited to, being interviewed, photographed and filmed and the winner grants the Promoter a perpetual, non-exclusive licence (if applicable) to use, and continuously releases and indemnifies the Promoter from and against any use of, such footage and photographs in all media worldwide, and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use. The inclusion of any such footage or photographs (including but not limited to creative control of the feature) will remain with the Promoter at all times.

26: The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

GENERAL

27: If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion does not run or is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to applicable law.

28: The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any communication network or for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over telephone communications, networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) any costs incurred.

29: This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, or any other social media network. The entrant is providing their information to Broadsheet and not to any other party.

30: The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, declare any or all entries made by an entrant invalid, and prohibit further participation by an entrant in this Promotion, if the entrant:

a. fails to verify their personal details and/or eligibility to enter the Promotion to the Promoter's satisfaction;

b. tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion;

c. submits an entry which in the Promoter's opinion is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry;

d. acts in a disruptive manner or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person; or

e. engages in conduct in entering the Promotion which in the Promoter’s opinion is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion or Promoter. This includes where entrants use multiple names or addresses to register multiple entries.

31: The Promoter and associated agencies and companies shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

32: The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.

33: Any disputes relating to the conduct of the promotion or the claiming of a prize are to be resolved by the Promoter in their absolute and sole discretion and subject to applicable law or direction of a relevant authority.

34: The Promoter’s decisions in relation to the Promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

35: The laws of England and Wales apply to these terms and conditions, although if you are resident elsewhere you will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections given to you by the laws of that country. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This means that you can choose whether to bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts of another part of the UK in which you live.

37: Your privacy is important to us. Your information is collected by Broadsheet Media UK Ltd (Broadsheet) and will be used and held in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Information you provide will be used for the purpose of conducting this promotion. See also Condition 21 with regard to the announcement of winners.
